The GM manages the Trident wind farm business in its entirety including safety, commercial, O&M as well as people aspects, full accountability for the asset performance of the Trident cluster, including P&L responsibility
Deliver safely and efficiently all operational and maintenance activities compliant with applicable rules and regulations, ensure management of and compliance to the wind farm contracts and agreements
Implement a safety leadership goal to develop a generative safety culture
Continuous improvement of asset performance, responsibility for asset integrity and longevity
Direct leadership to motivate the Wind Farm team, supporting teams and third parties to reach performance targets and goals
Contribute to the mid-term planning and other internal, centrally run projects and processes, closely collaborate with peers to identify and pass on best practices
Ensure key internal and external stakeholder alignment by the wind farm team, including local and other public authorities as well as main suppliers
Requirements
Minimum 5–8 years of experience managing operations on offshore wind farms or other power-generating assets of similar complexity
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, manage and delegate effectively across multiple geographies and diverse nationalities, including from a remote location; strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building high-performance teams and managing conflict effectively
Extensive experience collaborating with OEMs during warranty periods, including demonstrated expertise in End of Warranty (EOW) processes and negotiations; experience in the start-up and establishment of O&M activities for new offshore wind farms
In-depth technical knowledge of Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) and subsea maintenance protocols; knowledge of marine life enhancement strategies and experience collaborating with marine biology institutions
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, SAP and other operations software platforms relevant to wind farm maintenance
Well-developed problem-solving capabilities with a history of practical, decisive operational decision-making; results-driven, with the ability to set clear targets and consistently meet deadlines
Solid offshore work background; prior experience as a technician and ongoing physical ability to travel offshore and provide hands-on assistance as required
Willingness and ability to travel regularly to key operational sites, including Cuxhaven, Eemshaven and Heligoland, is essential for this role
