Prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Transaction Screen ESAs, and Records Search with Risk Assessment (RSRA) reports with the support of Environmental Due Diligence Program senior staff/Project Managers.
Assist in the completion of Property Condition Assessments, Plan and Cost Reviews, and Construction Draw Inspections with the support of Construction Risk senior staff.
Conduct site visits throughout, but not limited to, western New York, including the Buffalo and Rochester metropolitan areas, for a variety of environmental and construction-related due diligence projects.
Obtain, review, and interpret historical, regulatory, and municipal records.
Report findings to due diligence team leaders and assist in the evaluation of environmental and construction-related risks.
Independently manage due diligence assignments and meet project deliverable schedules.
Requirements
BS in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field of study.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Experience with Quire or other report writing software platforms is a plus.
Experience (1-3 years) with environmental and construction-related due diligence projects such as Phase I ESAs, Transaction Screen ESAs, Phase II ESAs, Property Condition Assessments, and/or Draw Inspections is desired.
Ability to work in a fast-paced due diligence team environment.
Good verbal, technical writing, communication, and time management skills are essential.
