About this role

Koombea is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure software quality through manual and automation testing.
You’ll identify and report bugs, suggest improvements, and validate every feature to guarantee a smooth go-live.
Your role includes creating and executing test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining quality standards, and approve releases to production throughout the SDLC.

4+ years of experience in functional (manual) testing with end-to-end project experience.
Familiarity with mobile automation frameworks (Appium is a plus).
Experience with tools such as Android Studio, Xcode, Selenium, Postman, GitHub, and Figma.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP requests.
Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and defect management tools.
Performance testing (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
Automation experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
ISTQB certification is a nice-to-have.
English proficiency is required for collaboration, but an advanced level is not mandatory.
