Lead technical discovery with government agencies and enterprise nonprofits to understand needs, pain points, and system architecture.
Collaborate with Account Managers, Project Managers, and Product to design solutions that are technically feasible, clearly scoped, and aligned with customer goals.
Support RFP responses with technical documentation, estimates, and architecture input.
Build and deliver tailored demos for complex use cases, leveraging reusable demo templates where possible.
Provide clean, detailed handoffs to the Service Delivery and Product teams to reduce rework and scope gaps.
Support the launch and sale of product portfolio by creating scalable demo flows and standardized pre-sales resources.
Track scope accuracy and feedback from the Service Delivery team to improve pre-sales processes over time.
Partner with Product to surface common requests or implementation blockers.
Requirements
4–7 years in a technical pre-sales, solution consulting, or implementation role at a SaaS company, ideally with public sector, government sector, or highly regulated clients.
Deep understanding of how to translate business requirements into technical designs or platform configurations.
Familiarity with RFP processes, public procurement constraints, and statement of work development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with highly configurable platforms like Salesforce, Oracle, HubSpot or other enterprise SaaS.
Comfort operating in a fast-changing environment with legacy systems, unclear processes, and shifting priorities.
Bonus: familiarity with XML, SQL, APIs, or low-code tools.
