Partner with product teams on commercialization of new financial technology products.
Provide legal consultation and advice on strategic initiatives, technology projects, and dispute resolution.
Collaborate with corporate specialists from credit, risk, finance, audit, tax, regulatory compliance, privacy, intellectual property, and technology teams on matters impacting the Merchant Solutions division.
Requirements
JD from an accredited law school and in good standing with State Bar with no disciplinary record.
Licensed to practice, or ability to become licensed (including limited in-house counsel license), in the state where you will work.
2+ years of law firm, corporate, litigation, bankruptcy, payments, fintech, transactional, or other similar experiences and a desire to learn about payments and financial services.
Exposure to financial services or technology contracts.
Interacting with senior management.
Experience data use and privacy matters.
Contract drafting and negotiation.
Handling corporate bankruptcy matters or complex commercial litigation.
