Role Overview
- Oversee the harmonization of Glanbia’s Sanitation programs and performance
- Provide strategic leadership for sanitation processes and performance metrics
- Manage the development and execution of global sanitation standards
- Collaborate with departments to ensure efficient processes
- Lead routine sanitation audits and identify contamination risks
- Maintain accurate chemical inventories and usage guidance
- Support microbiological investigations and improve sanitary design
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a science/technology field (or equivalent)
- 5 years of relevant management experience
- Knowledge of sanitation processes in food manufacturing
- Knowledge of sanitation chemicals and effective application
- Understanding of environmental monitoring programs and their relationship to sanitation
- Knowledge/training in food safety systems (e.g., SQF, GMP, PCQI, FSVP)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient with common business and Quality systems
