About this role
Role Overview
Pre-coding of incoming and outgoing invoices
Review of invoices for formal requirements (in particular German VAT law, UStG)
Maintenance of open items (OPOS), cash/petty cash and travel expenses
Preparation and provision of complete documentation for our tax advisor
End-to-end responsibility for our accounting processes, including optimization and documentation, ensuring compliance and quality
Management of outstanding receivables (dunning processes, preparation for debt collection)
Close coordination with our tax advisor
Requirements
Extensive professional experience in preparative bookkeeping or financial administration
Strong digital affinity and comfort with digital tools
Structured and independent way of working
Enjoyment of ownership and responsibility for results
Availability of 8–10 hours per week and the ability to work with us in a hybrid setup in Berlin
