You act as the interface between the business units and development.
Elicit requirements: Work closely on a daily basis and, where appropriate, run workshops with the CPO, CTO and the business areas (Sales, Marketing, Product) to turn concepts from strategy and the whiteboard into solutions.
This sometimes includes speaking with customers to collect and structure requirements.
Document: Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and maintain use cases and specifications.
Analyze: Prioritize requirements, resolve conflicts between stakeholders, assess business value and evaluate impacts on existing functionality.
Validate: Create prototypes and validate them with users, coordinate reviews, prepare acceptance tests (including the Definition of Done), and ensure the quality of new features.
