About this role
Role Overview
Increase market share and strengthen business relationships with existing clients.
Identify new opportunities and develop strategies based on customer needs to drive company growth.
Identify sales leads, manage prospects and close new business.
Assess clients' needs and propose appropriate solutions that will help meet or exceed sales targets.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision-makers.
Develop and maintain knowledge of market behavior and competitive trends.
Requirements
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proven ability to primarily engage end users and to implement inbound/attraction selling techniques.
Documented track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Prior sales experience in the building materials industry is an asset.
Experience in roofing is an asset.
Professional sales training is an asset.
Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
