Works collaboratively within the team and across the department
Implements, communicates and identifies additional data needed to understand the impact of business
and accounting-related initiatives on assigned processes and financial statements
Applies knowledge of Accounting professional and regulatory standards by preparing quarterly/annual statutory and/or GAAP financial statements and schedules/exhibits
Prepares and analyzes account reconciliations for complex accounting processes
Makes judgements and recommendation, initiates and participates in process improvement projects as appropriate
Prepares analytical schedules, analyzes variances, and provides analytical support based on business goals, Accounting concepts, individual review and internal customer requests
Coordinates monthly close and related processing, as well as the development and preparation of analyses (e.g. account analysis, preparation of journal entries)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Experience working with ERP systems; SAP or Oracle experience preferred
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
