Contribute to all aspects of GS1 Vehicle Design by coordinating between subsystems to create optimal structural, mechanical, fluids, and electrical solutions
Manage multiple concurrent vehicle configurations to support material planning
Perform configuration management and system-level trade studies
Process change requests related to vehicle configurations
Requirements
B.S. in engineering
5+ years of aerospace vehicle structures/systems development experience
Experience managing complex engineering changes across multiple production vehicles
Proficiency with effectivity and product structure management within CAD and PLM systems
Experience with system-level trade studies and design optimization
Strong cross-functional teamwork and communication skills
Proficiency with 3D CAD software and visualization tools
Knowledge of scheduling and planning principles
Strong GD&T skills and tolerance stack-up analysis experience
Experience participating in drawing and design reviews
Configuration management training (CMII) (Preferred)
Aerospace design, fabrication, and assembly knowledge (Preferred)
Ability to translate high-level requirements into design solutions (Preferred)
Experience with design for cost, manufacturability, and assembly (Preferred)
Experience providing design guidance to technical teams (Preferred)
Strong competency in PTC Creo and Windchill (Preferred)
Ability to conduct interference (Preferred)
