Collaborate with procurement leadership and multidisciplinary project teams to procure services, materials, and equipment supporting successful BESS and if required PV and Wind projects across the EMEA region
Execute the global and regional procurement strategies, maximizing value from local and international supply chains
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
Update and implement category strategy for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) including battery cells, power conversion systems (PCS), and energy management systems (EMS)
Develop and execute contracting strategies tailored to EMEA BESS market, including targets on pricing, delivery, service, and quality
Generate regular reports on category performance, market insights, price and technology development forecasts
Identify new suppliers for BESS and manage the prequalification process
Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the supply chain
Negotiate supply contracts for BESS systems
Requirements
Business experience of >5 years in procurement / supply chain
10-12+ professional years with 5-7 years in a similar role preferred
Utility-scale experience 200-1000MW, large projects, battery storage, substations & high voltage
Experience in supporting multi-functional projects in an international work environment with remote locations
Proven track record in the solar PV and BESS industries, including multi-year framework agreements
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional regional languages is highly desirable
Willingness and ability to travel within the EMEA region (up to 20-30%) for office locations, sites, conferences, and supplier meetings
Familiarity with regional software tools and platforms equivalent to Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting
