About this role
Role Overview
- Define the vision and roadmap for travel insurance products, including trip cancellation, medical, and assistance services
- Analyzes market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements and improvements and new product development
- Determines pricing and coverage for opportunities
- Work with distribution partners to tailor products and support sales goals
- Ensure all products, policy wordings, and filings comply with state, federal, and international insurance regulations
- Monitor key performance metrics (profitability, loss ratios, conversion) to make data-driven improvements
- Collaborate with technical teams to program workflows
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, mathematics, economics, actuarial science, or related field
- 3 or more years of experience in product management, underwriting, or financial analysis
- Travel insurance experience is preferred but not required
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis, SQL, excel, or actuarial tools
- Solid understanding of insurance principles, underwriting, and compliance
