Develop and execute strategic operational excellence roadmaps tailored to Jabil's US growth initiatives
Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, 5S, Six Sigma projects, and other lean manufacturing/business process improvement activities across multiple sites
Identify, analyze, and quantify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, quality improvement, and waste elimination
Mentor, train, and coach employees at all levels on operational excellence principles, tools, and methodologies
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and report progress to senior leadership
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality, to implement sustainable solutions
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making
Conduct root cause analysis for operational challenges and develop corrective and preventive actions
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in operational excellence and lean methodologies
Manage project portfolios, ensuring timely completion and achievement of desired outcomes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational excellence, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership or directorial capacity
Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing large-scale operational excellence programs across multiple sites or business units
Six Sigma Black Belt certification required; Master Black Belt preferred
Strong knowledge and practical application of lean principles, tools, and methodologies (e.g., VSM, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, SMED, Poka-Yoke)
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to drive change, foster collaboration, and build high-performing teams
Proficiency in project management software and data analysis tools
Ability to travel frequently within the US (up to 50-75%)
