Role Overview
- Designs truss components and truss repairs for MiTek customers
- Creatively solve engineering issues for customers
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and building officials on customer component design projects
- Discuss design modifications and reviews appropriate design methodologies with customers
Requirements
- Bachelors Engineering required
- Up to 1 Year of related experience required
- Ability to perform technical skills including algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and basic calculus physics, statistics and strength of materials, structural analysis
- Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis
- Ability to read and understand prints and schematics
- Able to use Microsoft Office Applications
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
- Any State Board preferred
