Assist Chief Legal Officer with all matters, including those related to the board of directors and work in connection to governmental affairs.
Assist attorneys in the preparation, review, closing and execution of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, financing, confidentiality agreements, leases and other real estate transactions and general contracts.
Conduct thorough due diligence reviews and organize virtual data rooms for corporate projects.
Work with attorneys on litigation matters that arise out of general corporate functions including basic investigation, document compilation and organization, docketing of deadlines, etc.
Work independently on specialized projects while collaborating with the in-house team on large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
3–5 years of relevant paralegal experience; a paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
High level of comfort with Microsoft Office Suite, AI based platforms (Gemini and NotebookLM) and legal tech (document management systems and e-signature platforms).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professional diplomacy.
Proven ability to prioritize a diverse workload involving multiple stakeholders and legal deadlines. Experience with process improvement is beneficial
Demonstrated ability to uphold the strictest standards of confidentiality and professional ethics.
