The role focuses on project work and geotechnical site investigations
Conducting geotechnical sampling and field and laboratory testing
Geological / geotechnical description and classification of soils and rocks
Project work in the field of geotechnical engineering at home and abroad, including documentation and review of results, and ensuring compliance with requirements and contractual terms
Managing projects with attention to quality, cost, schedule and safety in coordination with the department head and project managers
Planning, coordinating and executing geotechnical investigations, tests and measurements
Collaboration with project-related subcontractors
Requirements
University degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnology, Geology, Surveying/Geodesy or a comparable field
Initial relevant practical experience (internships / student work) is an advantage but not required
Confident and professionally competent presence with strong communication skills
Ability to handle conflicts and strong negotiation skills
High level of commitment and motivation
IT skills: proficient use of Office software and ArcGIS
Fluent German (C2) and good English (B2)
Valid driving licence (car)
Willingness to work in intercultural and international teams
Enjoyment of teamwork
