About this role
Role Overview
Overall responsibility for the development and implementation of the European sales strategy with a focus on sustainable revenue and margin growth
Identification and development of new markets, products and business models
Management of a challenging market environment characterized by price pressure, regulatory requirements and increasing sustainability demands
Expansion and development of strategic key accounts at national and European level
Leadership, development and structuring of the sales organization (inside and field sales)
Close collaboration with adjacent functions along the value chain
Requirements
University degree in Business Administration or a technical/natural sciences field
Several years of experience in a senior sales role with demonstrable results
Solid experience in B2B sales in the DACH region, ideally with European exposure
Extensive industry knowledge in chemical distribution or specialized segments of the chemical industry
