Role Overview
- As a Relationship Manager (“RM”), you will be responsible for selling more products to our existing commodities clients which include oil majors, energy firms, and commodity trading firms.
- You will be the ‘face of’ OpenGamma/TT Margin and ultimately responsible for the relationship between the firm and your clients.

- working with our clients and OG Product Management to enhance the platform and create further growth by new product initiatives
- Develops trusted relationships with individual clients to help them get the most from the solution they have bought and positioning for further growth
- Coordinates with Client Services Lead to ensure that we effectively manage clients’ experience with live functionality, acting as an escalation route for our client services team, as needed
- Having a view across client workstreams (onboarding, client service, product management) to ensure we are joined up in our client approach
- Seeking and understanding client requirements in our target space (Trading/Treasury/Risk/Collateral), outside of the existing offering
- with the aim of helping the firm develop new products
- Helping to spot client trends and focus marketing attention as we deliver relevant content to our existing client base.
Requirements
- You are able to talk to various counterparts at our clients
- Traders, Treasury, Technology, Risk, Operations and other senior stakeholders (COO, CRO, CTO, Portfolio Managers)
- You can effectively communicate with external clients, be it face to face or written correspondence, and build strong relationships with them.
- You have a keen eye for both the finer details and the bigger picture.
- You know when to approach others for help and are skilled at extracting the right information.
- You actively search for ways to help the team, without waiting for instructions.
- Prior experience in an RM/Sales capacity from a clearing broker, vendor in the commodities space or clearing house is required.
- A good grasp of capital markets asset classes, in particular derivatives and clearing.
- Knowledge of margin and commodity markets is not a prerequisite but beneficial.
