About this role
Role Overview
- Supporting the integration of systems and communication protocols, including FTP, SSH, OFTP, and e-mail, with the Lobster Data Platform to ensure smooth data flow
- Communicating directly with customers to resolve issues related to AMQP, JMS, MQTT, and Apache Kafka
- Analyzing logs and faulty communication links at the protocol level using tools such as Wireshark
- Setting up and troubleshooting communication connections using X.509 certificates (OFTP)
- Creating and updating technical documentation, including the internal knowledge base and troubleshooting guides
Requirements
- Good knowledge of network protocols: TCP, IP, FTP, SSH, IMAP, POP3, SMTP
- Basic familiarity with messaging protocols: AMQP, JMS, MQTT, Apache Kafka
- Experience with encryption technologies, digital certificates, and implementing signature procedures to ensure authentication and data integrity
- German language skills (spoken and written) at C1 level and ideally solid English skills
