About this role
Role Overview
- Responsible for mid-ticket credit adjudication, $250,000 and up
- Make recommendations regarding deal acceptance, pricing and structure for all Bennington brands
- Work with broker partners on each approval until deal closes
- Make structural changes to approvals, negotiating rates and terms to ensure deals close
- Maintain acceptable default and loss standards as determined by senior management
Requirements
- 10+ years of direct credit analysis experience, ideally in the Leasing sector
- Knowledge of Canadian lease structures and leasing processes
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements
- Attention to accuracy and detail
- Willingness and ability to find a solution with a can do attitude
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a deadline oriented environment
- Ability to manage competing priorities and timelines
- Strong interaction and communication skills with internal and external customers
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Proficient in Word, Excel and ability to learn new systems quickly
