Transportation Operations

Role Overview

• Execute and support transportation processes and systems, ensuring accurate data capture, monitoring, and operational follow-up for daily transportation activities.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with internal policies, including EHS and Compliance, across transportation service providers.
• Track and analyze transportation KPIs, operational performance, and productivity indicators.
• Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives, including continuous improvement actions, problem-solving activities, 5S, and improvement cards tracking.
• Register, update, and manage transportation data in Transportation Management Systems (OTM).
• Control and assign transportation units to scheduled shipments, including inbound and outbound vehicle handling.
• Perform vehicle weight verification (where scales are available) and validate shipment data.
• Monitor shipments using tracking systems (e.g., GPS, Beetrack) to ensure on-time delivery and route completion.
• Provide onboarding and system training (Beetrack) for new drivers and resolve operational questions from drivers and transportation coordinators.
• Manage vehicle flow within the yard and loading docks, ensuring efficient turnaround times.
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, including ENR and productivity reports.
• Monitor loading times and yard occupancy through on-site checks and system follow-ups.
• Support incident management, including delays, returns, claims, and non-conformities.
• Coordinate reverse logistics activities when required.
• Support adjustments to transportation plans to ensure routes depart on schedule.
• Maintain constant communication via email, phone, and messaging platforms to respond to internal and external requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation or logistics operations.
• Availability to work rotating shifts.
