About this role
Role Overview
- Collaborate with customers to develop industry-specific machining solutions.
- Demonstrate capabilities through engineering excellence and customer service.
- Develop sales and profitability within a designated geographical area.
- Prospecting, making sales calls, providing product training, and customer support/analysis.
- Document cost reductions and manage CRM administration.
- Implement innovative machining techniques and refine methods and procedures to support customer improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and cutting tool applications.
- Strong experience in indexable milling and a metal cutting background.
- Familiar with 5-axis machine centres.
- Knowledge of machining aerospace materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to present clearly to internal and external audiences.
- Strong relationship building skills and ability to thrive in team environments.
- Proactive approach to personal development.
- Strong time management skills.
- HNC or HND in production/mechanical engineering.
- Full and clean driving license.
