About this role
Role Overview
Collaborate with customers to develop industry-specific machining solutions.
Demonstrate capabilities through engineering excellence and customer service.
Develop sales and profitability within a designated geographical area.
Prospecting, making sales calls, providing product training, and customer support/analysis.
Document cost reductions and manage CRM administration.
Implement innovative machining techniques and refine methods and procedures to support customer improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and cutting tool applications.
Strong experience in indexable milling and a metal cutting background.
Familiar with 5-axis machine centres.
Knowledge of machining aerospace materials.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to present clearly to internal and external audiences.
Strong relationship building skills and ability to thrive in team environments.
Proactive approach to personal development.
Strong time management skills.
HNC or HND in production/mechanical engineering.
Full and clean driving license.
