Provide technical consultation and leadership for the US Electrical Power life cycle
Act as the technical authority for hardware related decisions within the Electrical Power domain
Provide technical leadership in design reviews and relevant design boards
Represent the Chief Engineer’s Office in matters related to hardware design excellence
Stay current with aerospace industry developments and regulatory initiatives
Provide technical mentoring and coaching to engineers
Lead the Hardware Electrical Power US functional element of the Competency Model Framework
Coordinate with the Avionics and Electrical Power UK Hardware CCEs
Lead Chief Engineer’s Office initiatives to improve engineering process and performance
Promote the documentation of lessons learned and effective improvement actions

Technical degree in Engineering
At least 15 years of experience in hardware technologies related to Electrical Power product development
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required
Familiarity with commercial & military aerospace systems practices and associated industry standards, policies, and procedures
Knowledge of and passion for FLIGHT DECK, and the ability to drive this successfully in the organization
Competency in the fundamentals of the Electrical Power product area
