Achieve team sales targets by providing exceptional sales advice coaching to maximize acquisition opportunities within the assigned territory
Positively represent our Brand in their local market and communities by actively promoting the value proposition of TD Merchant Solutions
Lead the team by identifying opportunities for growing new merchant relationships through lead generation, prospecting, proposals (incl RFPs), contract negotiation through to sales closing
Work with select Business Banking partners to develop collaborative go-to-market acquisition strategies, championing the refreshed solutions enabled through our Fiserv partnership
Act as a SME for our Regional Sales Team in business initiatives, special projects as required from time-to-time
Requirements
Post-Secondary Education (University Degree, College Diploma or equivalent) in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent experience in Sales or Business Development
Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and 2+ years in management capacity would be an asset
Proven track record and thorough knowledge of various sales, marketing, and business development strategies including experience with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce
Effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet timelines
Willing to travel as required and to work variable hours driven by needs of the business
