About this role
Role Overview
Use established guidelines to review, analyze and make recommendations regarding basic RMA (Risk Management Agency) required compliance reviews and make necessary corrections to insured’s Schedule of Insurance, acres, yield, etc.
Document appropriate compliance review findings for submission to RMA (Risk Management Agency)
Assess necessity for additional compliance reviews based on interpretation of estimated loss/reserves and RMA data
Interpret RMA audit requests to obtain appropriate insured documentation for submission to RMA by defined completion date
Assist with investigating and resolving system data transmission errors
Communicate notification of new compliance reviews to customer
Ensure retention of compliance review documentation
Collaborate internally and externally, including with Claims, Underwriting and other departments to deliver excellent customer service to our agents and farmers
Comply with company policies and procedures, laws, rules and regulations through execution of compliance quality reviews
Identify and communicate potential misrepresentations, fraud, waste, abuse and other compliance risks

Requirements
High School Diploma/GED
1+ years experience
Experience with crop insurance including underwriting, adjusting and/or compliance experience
Communicate information in a clear, well-organized, and professional manner
Use a logical approach to analyse issues; demonstrated analytical ability
Follow established guidelines to focus on details and complete tasks attentively and thoroughly
Utilize effective verbal and written communication
Demonstrated interest in enhancing knowledge; seeks opportunities to learn and grow
Escalate issues when necessary
Exercise independent and ethically sound judgment
Associates/Bachelor’s degree in agriculture
Working knowledge of Federal Crop Insurance Program and documents; knowledge of general crop insurance policies and procedures
Understanding of general compliance and quality control functions and principles
General computer knowledge including Office (Word, Excel), Windows and EASYjuster
