In this role, you’ll ensure all gas and electric meter installations meet industry legislation and company standards, playing a key part in maintaining compliance across our field operations.
You’ll lead audit activity, support engineers in staying up to date with requirements, and provide coaching where gaps in knowledge or performance are identified.
Working both independently and as part of a wider team, you’ll also investigate issues and help drive continuous improvement and high performance.
Requirements
You’ll have a solid foundation in metering, with CCN1, MET1 or equivalent qualifications, alongside proven experience in metering work.
You’ll be a strong communicator with the ability to motivate others, build relationships, and influence performance in the field.
Attention to detail and a proactive, problem solving approach are essential, along with a focus on delivering both excellent customer service and high installation standards.
A full UK driving licence is required.
Ideally, you’ll also hold additional qualifications such as National PTO (NSAP), medium pressure, 3 phase and PEB1, with a good understanding of SMICOP, British Standards, and industry regulations across gas and electric metering.
Your role will involve having access to our customers’ homes some, so you’ll need to go through some enhanced security vetting.
