About this role
Role Overview
Serve as the Source Finance lead to support the global WCH, BIO, A&R Procurement and Supply Chain teams
Forecast, track, and analyze purchase price variances (i.e. cost improvement projects, market-driven price increases, tariffs, and other raw material surcharges)
Independently drive the month end close cycle by analyzing large datasets
Collaborate with subject matter experts to glean insights, preparing commentary, and presenting results to both Source and SC leadership
Partner with Surgery PMO to proactively track and validate business cases behind cost savings
Bring a continuous improvement mindset to live into CFIN/Anaplan go-lives for MTSC
Ensure compliance is kept at the forefront
Facilitate complete and accurate annual standard cost setting with Procurement business partners across hundreds of suppliers and thousands of individual SKUs
Support ad hoc business needs in a sophisticated, matrixed environment
Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.
A CPA, CMA, or MBA are also preferred.
A minimum of three years finance or related business experience is required.
Supply Chain (Finance or Ops) experience preferred.
Must possess the ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills are required.
Ability to establish, maintain, and improve business processes is required.
Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership skills are essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel & PowerPoint) is required.
Experience in SAP, TM1, Anaplan, PowerBI, and JDE is preferred.
