About this role

Analyzes, designs, creates, and implements databases including access methods, device allocations, validating checks, organization, and security
Designs data models and physical databases, data dictionaries, and schemas
Executes the installation, upgrades and tests of database software
Develops and implements strategic database recovery plans and procedures
Troubleshoots and resolves database issues effectively
Monitors database environment to ensure ongoing efficiency
Researches new technologies and advises senior leadership on the changing environment
Manages and coordinates multiple projects
Collaborates across Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data (TODD) to strengthen risk management, compliance, and cyber security

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Or High School Diploma/GED with completion of a technical training program in web programming language
Nine (9) years of experience in Computer Science or related field
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated leadership capabilities
Proficient in database monitoring and tuning
Strong research skills with ability to analyze data and create professional reports
Understanding of relational database model
