Role Overview
- You will be responsible for the financial reporting of our legal entities
- Play an important part in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial information
- Work closely with colleagues in Financial Control, Business Control, and Shared Services
- Have a broad interface across the organization
- The role combines hands-on accounting work with opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
Requirements
- Ensuring a timely and accurate month-end close in accordance with US GAAP and JBT Marel accounting guidelines
- Preparing local financial statements and handling tax-related reporting
- Preparing and posting journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and intercompany entries
- Reconciling general ledger accounts and performing account analyses
- Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls, and local regulations
- Contributing to improvements in financial processes and reporting quality
- Management of audits (Group audits, statutory audits, etc....)
