Role Overview
**What You'll Do **
The Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for sourcing and attracting top talent to meet the hiring needs of Rising Edge Group. This role requires a strategic mindset to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies and practices tailored to the company's workforce requirements. The successful candidate will actively connect with candidates to address Rising Edge’s needs. They will work closely with hiring managers across various departments to understand their needs and ensure a seamless hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Work with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions.
- Implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy to attract candidates through various channels, actively connecting with candidate networks.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates to ensure they meet the required qualifications and fit with the company culture.
- Manage the entire recruitment process from advertisement through offer negotiations and pre-employment requirements.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems to maintain accurate records of candidates and recruitment metrics.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies when necessary.
- Participate in job fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities to promote the Rising Edge Group brand.
- Provide guidance and assistance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Conduct salary negotiations and prepare offer letters.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of hiring strategies and suggest improvements.
- Support succession planning efforts by identifying high-potential internal and external talent for critical roles.
- Conduct talent market research to support workforce planning in new and emerging markets.
- Provide strategic insights to leadership on talent availability and trends relevant to business expansion.
Requirements
**What We're Looking For **
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting roles.
- Experience in construction, project management and renewable energy industries in the US and Canada would be considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of recruitment strategies and sourcing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with candidates and hiring managers.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of labor market trends and employment laws.
