Perform the monthly calculation of ICMS, covering own ICMS, ICMS-ST, differential of rates (DIFAL), prepayments, credits and adjustments.
Execute the fiscal recording of incoming and outgoing documents and other transactions, ensuring correct tax classification (CFOP, CST/CSOSN, rates and tax bases).
Prepare, review and submit state ancillary obligations, such as EFD ICMS/IPI (SPED Fiscal), GIA or equivalent state declarations, and other obligations required by SEFAZ according to the state (UF).
Perform tax reconciliations between systems, fiscal books and accounting.
Monitor deadlines for filing and tax payments to avoid fines and penalties.
Support analysis of tax legislation applicable to the company's operations.
Identify and assist in correcting tax inconsistencies, including amending declarations when necessary.
Respond to internal requests from areas such as accounting, finance, procurement and billing, providing tax clarifications.
Support tax inspections and audits by organizing documents and information.
Stay updated on changes in ICMS legislation and state regulations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of tax processes and document organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
Experience in the tax area, with a focus on ICMS calculation.
