About this role
Role Overview
Design and develop advanced liquid cooling systems to improve thermal performance, from component to system and rack level.
Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
Conduct feasibility studies for liquid cooling solutions.
Ensure the quality of liquid cooling solution from design stage.
Perform thermal simulations and analysis to optimize cooling performance and efficiency.
Utilize computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools to model fluid flow and heat transfer in liquid cooling systems.
Identify and implement improvements to enhance thermal management and reduce energy consumption.
Develop and assemble prototypes to validate design concepts and ensure they meet performance criteria.
Conduct rigorous testing, including thermal cycling, pressure testing, and leak detection, to ensure system reliability and safety.
Analyze test results and iterate designs based on findings to achieve optimal performance.
Communicate with internal and external departments to solve issues and make sure can meet target on time.
Capable to find out adequate resource & solutions to deliver fastest response to customers.
Excellent teamwork and communication (verbal and writing) skills.
Show initiatives and has strong drive for customer satisfaction.
Systematically & logically thinking and do support management.
Lead and assist team members in completing projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, thermal engineering, or a related field
Deep understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer principles
Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD) for creating detailed designs and schematics
Experience with thermal analysis and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) tools for modeling and optimizing cooling systems
Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues related to liquid cooling systems
Ability to analyze test data and simulation results to optimize system performance and identify areas for improvement
Creative thinking to develop innovative solutions and improvements in liquid cooling technology
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines
Proficiency in identifying and mitigating risks associated with liquid cooling system projects.
