About this role
Role Overview
- Perform electrical testing, maintenance, and repair services on electrical distribution systems
- Travel to customer sites to inspect and test electrical systems
- Conduct instrument transformer tests and power transformer testing
- Troubleshoot automatic transfer switch and low, medium, and high voltage switchgear
- Rotate emergency on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies
Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience performing switchgear testing & troubleshooting
- Prefer an Associate’s degree in Electrical Power & Controls or an EE Degree
- NETA Certification (I, II, III or IV) or similar desired
- Good PC skills including email, internet, data entry and Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerDB a plus
- Must be physically fit to crawl, climb, stand, walk and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Willing to travel; minimum 40%
