About this role
Role Overview
Take ownership of sales compensation calculations, including validation and analysis.
Develop, administer, and maintain sales compensation plans and incentive programs aligned with business goals.
Analyze sales performance data and compensation metrics to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate compensation trends and insights to management.
Support the annual sales compensation planning process, including quota setting and quota attainment analysis.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and HR teams to gather requirements and update compensation structures.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation.
Conduct regular audits of sales compensation data to ensure accuracy and detect discrepancies.
Manage and maintain the Incentive Management System (IMS) to support efficient processing of sales incentives.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales compensation, data analysis, process improvement, or revenue operations roles.
Proficiency in commissions tools (e.g., CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Perfomio, Varicent etc.).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience in Sales Operations or a similar function in a technology-driven organization.
Familiarity with commissions plans, MBO, sales incentives/spiffs/competitions.
Proven track record of driving process changes that improve business outcomes.
