About this role
Role Overview
Review large datasets (in the order of several thousand rows) within Excel or Google Sheets, examining records on a line-by-line basis.
Open, review, and interpret supporting PDF documentation, including customer records and invoices, and reconcile their contents against corresponding system entries.
Identify and correct discrepancies, missing information, duplicate records, and other data quality issues, in line with documented procedures.
Escalate ambiguous, unusual, or out-of-scope cases to the project lead for review.
Maintain accurate and timely records of work completed, changes made, and outstanding items, to support project tracking and reporting.
Deliver consistent quality and productivity throughout the duration of the engagement.
Requirements
Demonstrable attention to detail and a methodical approach to repetitive tasks.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and standard data manipulation.
Ability to follow established processes accurately and consistently over an extended period.
Strong written communication skills and the ability to maintain regular, proactive contact with the project lead in a remote working environment.
Awareness of, and commitment to, the confidential handling of customer and financial information.
Capacity to work independently and manage personal productivity without direct day-to-day supervision.
Previous experience in a data entry, data clean-up, audit support, bookkeeping, or administrative role (desirable).
Familiarity with a customer relationship management (CRM) system, such as Salesforce or HubSpot (desirable).
Exposure to invoicing, accounts payable / receivable, or other standard financial documentation (desirable).
