Identifies and analyzes business needs, conducts business & technical requirements gathering, defines scope and objectives through a variety of techniques such as work sessions and interviews.
Analyzes and documents complex business requirements and processes; communicates these requirements to appropriate parties (mainly the development team and the business owners).
Coordinates, facilitates, and leads meetings with clients to gather and document requirements, or explore potential solutions.
Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried out through the entire project.
Creates complex test case scenarios to be used in testing; conducts/monitors/oversee/documents the testing of business applications to verify that all client requirements are incorporated into the system design.
Provides expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for basic business process engagements.
Facilitate regular progress meetings, and updates to varying departments.
Generate and deliver transition status updates to program management and client.
Use quantitative analysis methodology to perform data, cost and benefit, and/or process measurement analysis.
Research industry trends for application of process improvement techniques and best practices.
Partners with business process owners and management on strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field
At least 2 years of proven experience in IT business analysis, including Networking-related projects.
Demonstrated expertise in documenting requirements, working under Agile processes and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA)
Secret Security Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI access as required.
Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
