About this role
Role Overview
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS and preparation of consolidated reporting under IFRS
- Maintenance of records required for tax purposes
- Contribution to balance sheet strategy taking commercial and tax regulations into account
- Participation in the preparation of the annual management report
- Collaboration with and technical support for sub-ledgers
- Point of contact for external auditors, tax auditors and tax advisors
Requirements
- Completed commercial or tax specialist training (possibly with further qualification) or a degree with a focus on finance and accounting
- Relevant professional experience in general accounting or in a comparable position
- Good knowledge of accounting under HGB (IFRS knowledge is an advantage)
- Good command of English (at least B1 level)
- Experience with SAP is an advantage but not a requirement
- Excellent analytical skills, initiative and conscientiousness
- High degree of personal responsibility and commercial/entrepreneurial thinking
- Strong team skills and communication abilities
