Role Overview
- Develop structural designs of site infrastructure, including roads, drainage systems, and earthworks
- Conduct site assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Manage multiple project timelines, maintaining thorough documentation, and contributing to project coordination and reporting
- Mentor junior staff and support the delivery of engineering solutions in industrial and mining environments
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Technology or a related field is required
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in structural design, preferably in industrial or mining environments, is required
- Knowledge of industry codes and regulations is desirable
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites applications
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high quality work
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainable design practices
- Valid driver’s license
