Analyze detailed finance and accounting processes to identify improvement opportunities in areas such as Record to report: Close and consolidation; Internal and external reporting, general ledger/chart of accounts design, financial performance management
Simplify complex processes to improve reliability and achieve cost and cycle time reductions
Managing work streams of a complex project to implement improvements
Identify and address client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues
Learn and perform in functional and technical capacities, which includes system application implementations and software configurations
Produce deliverables within a diverse, fast paced environment, collaborating effectively across teams and juggling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
Requirements
Consulting experience with demonstrated experience in Finance
Good understanding of process improvement, chart of accounts design/management, and applications of at least one of the following focus areas: finance transformation, performance management, financial systems optimization, managerial cost accounting, financial modelling and industry systems/processes.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organization
Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills
