About this role
Role Overview
- Provide quality education and maintain high standards of academic excellence in teaching assigned courses
- Teach assigned courses in person and asynchronously online
- Maintain office hours as assigned
- Arrive on-campus at least half an hour prior to the start time of in-person sessions
- Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience
- Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours
Requirements
- Teaching experience at the college level
- Online teaching experience
- Master’s degree in English, English Education, or Communications required
- Master’s degree in related area with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Composition and/or Communications and/or Literature required
- Professional certification in discipline specialty (if applicable)
- Must have strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
