About this role
Role Overview
Being the strategist and technical advisor to architects and technology leaders of Akamai's Premium customers
Partnering with Sales and pre-sales to make recommendations that expand adoption of Akamai's products and services
Maximizing customer satisfaction, retention, and growth based on the customer's needs and business requirements
Being the central point of contact for the customer and lead account team to deliver customer success
Responding to escalations when various product, platform or implementation arise and identifying improvements to mitigate future risks
Being the customer champion internally, and influencing internal decisions within teams to help customer outcomes
Requirements
Have 6 to 8 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in computer science/Engineering or relevant fields.
Be a customer advocate passionate about delivering technical solutions
Have knowledge of internet technologies and online industry including HTTPS, DNS, DevOps, Web Development and Web Security
Demonstrate good understanding or prior experience of working with CDNs
Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role within the Information Technology industry
Demonstrate communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers across various levels
Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-changing environment
Demonstrate experience in Program or Project management in a cross functional and technical team
