Align: work closely with product leadership, Product Managers, and cross-functional business partners to ensure product work is clearly understood, decisions are communicated effectively, and teams are aligned on priorities, dependencies, and readiness.
Enable: Provide the means for product teams to complete routine and strategic tasks themselves, as efficiently as possible, by administering key processes, maintaining tools and workflows, and bringing structure to how work is prepared, reviewed, and tracked.
Improve: Work continuously and iteratively to improve how teams work by identifying bottlenecks, reducing time spent on non-core product activities, and strengthening the systems, governance, and operating rhythms that support high-quality product work.
Product Operating Model and Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) Support: Support and improve the flow of work from intake through discovery, assessment, planning, and delivery by ensuring requests are complete, handoffs are clear, and the right information is available at the right time.
Intake and Initiative Readiness: Oversee the intake process and serve as a first line of review for incoming requests. Work with stakeholders to gather the required inputs, improve intake quality, and ensure work is ready for Product review and decision-making.
Operating Rhythm and Meeting Support: Prepare, coordinate, and facilitate recurring forums such as Weekly Business Reviews, roadmap reviews, stakeholder meetings, and leadership sessions. Ensure materials are clear, decisions are captured, and follow-up actions are tracked to completion.
Tools and Workflow Optimization: Maintain and improve the product management tech stack, including workflow hygiene, documentation practices, and reporting accuracy, to increase transparency and usability across Product and cross-functional teams.
Governance and Process Support: Support and improve key operating processes including compliance reviews, cross-functional readiness, and other recurring governance needs that help the business interact effectively with Product.
Cross-functional Project and Program Leadership: Lead or coordinate select cross-functional initiatives in partnership with Product Managers and leaders, driving alignment on scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and execution across teams.
Data-informed Decision-making: Use data, reporting, and operational insights to identify trends, inform process improvements, and help the Product organization continuously improve how it plans and executes work.
Iterative Improvement: Ensure product operating processes, frameworks, and methodologies remain practical, valuable, and fit for purpose. Roll out improvements thoughtfully, with a strong change management mindset and a bias toward progress over perfection.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster open communication and facilitate alignment between Product, Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders, ensuring teams are working effectively toward common goals.
Team development: Work closely with the CPO and Product leadership to support onboarding, training, documentation, and repeatable ways of working that help members of the Product Organization perform at a high level within our product model.
Requirements
Product Operations is a strategic support role for the business that is as much about coordinating people as it is technology and processes.
The strongest candidates will be comfortable owning operational work directly while also identifying ways to improve how the organization works over time.
Predominantly, candidates from product operations, program or project management, business operations, product management, business analysis, or similar roles may bring the right mix of execution, organization, and process improvement experience to the position.
An understanding of the full product development lifecycle (PDLC), including intake, discovery, assessment, planning, release, and cross-functional readiness processes.

Ability to use product, process, or operational data to drive better decision-making and surface relevant insights from available reporting and analytics.
Experience administering, facilitating, driving adoption of, and improving software tools and workflows in general.
Experience and confidence in facilitating, as well as presenting at, meetings and presentations with multiple stakeholders.
Experience and confidence in working with all levels of the business
from senior leaders to individual contributors
and the ability to make suggestions, advocate for improvements, and drive positive change.
