About this role
Role Overview
- Design, operation, and further development of Linux servers (on-premises & cloud)
- Monitoring of performance, stability, and security
- Troubleshooting as well as patch and update management
- Participation in projects for virtualization, automation, containers, and cloud setups
- Automation of recurring tasks (Bash, optional Python)
- Support of logistics and e-commerce systems
- Documentation and continuous optimization of the infrastructure
- Active knowledge sharing within the team
- Long-term: development toward project or IT lead roles
Requirements
- Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or equivalent practical experience
- Solid knowledge of Linux administration (Oracle Linux, Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS)
- German language skills B2–C1
- Initial experience with scripting (Bash, Python) (nice-to-have)
- Exposure to cloud environments (nice-to-have)
- Team-oriented, proactive, and curious
