Role Overview
- Manage and moderate communities across news, sports, and entertainment channels (comments, messages, interactions, and crises);
- Develop and execute audience engagement and growth strategies on streaming platforms and social networks;
- Work in partnership with editorial, product, marketing, and data teams to boost content reach, retention, and relevance;
- Monitor breaking news, trending topics, and audience behavior in real time;
- Produce reports and performance analyses (engagement, growth, retention, CTR, watch time, etc.);
- Translate data and insights into practical recommendations for content and distribution;
- Ensure consistency in tone of voice, language, and brand positioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism;
- Excellent command of Portuguese (written and verbal);
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse audience profiles;
- Digitally native profile with an understanding of news consumption, audience behavior, and streaming content consumption;
- Previous experience as a community manager, social media specialist, or in a similar role;
- Proven experience analyzing metrics and data from social networks and audio/video platforms (YouTube Studio, Spotify for Podcasters, Meta, etc.);
- Analytical ability to translate data into editorial direction;
- Organized, autonomous, and effective at prioritizing tasks.
Preferred / Nice-to-have:
- Experience working in newsrooms, media outlets, or editorial projects;
- Experience producing journalistic content, covering news beats, or working in a newsroom routine;
- Experience in audience service and community relationship management;
- Knowledge of SEO for content and digital distribution strategies;
- Experience with social listening tools and BI.
