Requirements
4–7 years in technical marketing or security engineering within cybersecurity
Experience with identity security — IAM, PAM, or non-human identities — is a significant advantage.
A background as a security engineer or architect who moved into marketing is a major plus.
You can read an API doc, understand an architecture diagram, and translate both into content that resonates with practitioners and executives.
You move seamlessly from high-level strategy to writing a technically rigorous solution brief.
You measure success in pipeline influenced and deals accelerated — not content produced.
You are curious about and comfortable using AI tools (like ChatGPT or Perplexity) to accelerate content creation and produce sharper technical work at scale.
You can hold your own with CISOs and security architects, and explain complex concepts clearly to any audience.
