Role Overview
Defining and executing the end-to-end commercial markets strategy across assigned verticals.
Leading, coaching, and developing a large, high-performing team aligned to commercial end-user markets.
Driving pipeline development, revenue growth, and enterprise-level sales execution.
Partnering cross-functionally to deliver scalable PACS, Mercury-based, and mobile-enabled access solutions.
Owning and execute the overall commercial markets strategy across Technology, Financial Services, Commercial Real Estate, Retail, and Logistics.
Defining vertical priorities, segmentation, and go-to-market focus aligned with HID PACS and Mercury platforms.
Serving as the senior internal advocate for Commercial Markets, providing insight into customer needs, buying behaviors, and competitive dynamics.
Ensuring HID solutions scale across enterprise, multi-site, and global commercial deployments.
Leading, coaching, and developing 12+ direct and indirect reports, including Directors, Senior Business Development Managers, and Business Development Managers.
Establishing clear performance expectations, KPIs, and development plans to drive accountability and engagement.
Partnering with Sales leadership and HR on hiring, onboarding, talent development, and succession planning.
Fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and performance-driven culture aligned to enterprise selling motions.
Driving demand generation, pipeline growth, deal progression, and revenue performance across commercial verticals.
Leading commercial strategy for mobile engagement adoption, positioning mobile credentials and digital identity alongside traditional PACS and Mercury systems.
Ensuring value-based messaging connects security, operational efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
Providing executive-level support on complex enterprise opportunities when required.
Collaborating with Marketing to develop vertical-specific messaging, thought leadership, and demand generation programs.
Partnering with Product and Technology teams to influence roadmap priorities for large-scale commercial deployments.
Building and strengthening relationships with consultants, systems integrators, and strategic technology partners.
Representing HID at industry events, customer briefings, and partner engagements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.
10+ years of experience in physical security, access control, or enterprise security solutions.
5+ years of people management experience.
Proven ability to lead and scale large, high-performing teams (12+ employees).
Strong understanding of enterprise PACS environments, including traditional access control and Mercury-based architectures.
Experience driving complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with long lead times.
Ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies across diverse commercial verticals.
Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel across North America.
MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Experience influencing product roadmaps and technology strategy in partnership with engineering teams is preferred.
Familiarity with mobile credentials, digital identity, or mobile-enabled access strategies is preferred.
Experience working with enterprise customers, global deployments, and matrixed organizations is preferred.
