Developing skill acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans
Monitoring client progress and analyzing data
Modifying client interventions
Training RBTs on client-specific interventions
Conducting treatment integrity checks and competencies with RBTs
Conducting assessment and reassessment activities
Conceptualizing client treatment needs and developing individualized goals
Observing and participating in caregiver trainings
Providing direct work with clients
Requirements
Full completion of field experience and supervision hours required for BCBA eligibility
Meet all BACB requirements to sit for BCBA exam
Committed to sit for BCBA exam within 60 days
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
Physical capacity to move quickly and respond to potentially aggressive / challenging behavior and de-escalate challenging situations with clients.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, squatting, running and/or sitting in order to interact with clients and to implement prescribed interventions.
Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds to assist with client positioning or mobility.
Adequate vision and hearing are needed to work with clients and staff.
Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment and other necessary tools.
