Create and execute strategies that facilitate high impact growth and achievement critical to AFG and the Region's success
Drive accountability for the business results (~1,570 advisors in Mid-Atlantic) and financial management of the region
Ensure that the office of the Regional Vice President and the region is running efficiently and that all tools and processes required for the effective management of the business are fully integrated
Partner with multiple Franchise Field Vice Presidents (FFVPs) to drive consistent operational execution across territories to increase revenue leverage for sales region
Lead the annual business planning process and periodic business reviews.
Responsible for daily management of regional operations, including financial management and reporting.
Ensure that sound business processes are in place to proactively manage and track revenues, expenses, and recoveries.
Develop and manage Region communications and systems, to effectively engage advisors in growth and development opportunities, maintain culture and community for advisors, and provide support and direction to leadership team.
Lead and manage implementation planning and execution for all Region-wide initiatives (e.g, advisor training and development conferences), as well as for any major projects and initiatives that impact the field (e.g., major systems and process changes).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
10+ years’ relevant experience required
Proven ability to drive results and track success against key metrics and priorities
Demonstrated financial management skills (total P&L) and experience
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Knowledge and ability to effectively apply corporate policies
Demonstrated experience in utilizing desktop tools in the development and maintenance of business systems and reports
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
