Role Overview
- Manage all sales activities within your assigned territory
- Act as the CEO of your territory
- Own and grow a defined sales territory
- Sell consultatively by understanding customer needs
- Prospect and acquire new customers
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships
- Collaborate with product specialists, manufacturer partners, and sales leadership
- Manage a diverse product portfolio
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent/applicable experience
- 1+ years of experience working in a complex sales environment
- 2+ years of life sciences work
- Proven track record of verifiable sales success
- Business-to-business sales experience
- Ability to utilize best in class selling processes and technology platforms including Salesforce.com and Qlikview
- Willingness to travel to customer locations 5 days a week
